Risk Manager (Fraud Prevention)

We are looking for a Risk Manager who will be responsible for managing payment risk, fraud prevention and operational risk processes in the field of e-commerce and digital payments.
This role involves working with payment transactions, identifying fraud patterns, reducing financial losses and improving antifraud and risk management processes for online businesses.
The position is suitable for specialists with experience in fintech, acquiring, PSPs, banks or high-risk merchant environments.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor fraud activity, chargeback levels and overall fraud losses.
- Develop and implement rules, algorithms and scenarios aimed at fraud prevention and risk mitigation.
- Analyze transactions and identify suspicious patterns, anomalies and high-risk behaviour.
- Perform chargeback and dispute handling in accordance with VISA and MasterCard rules.
- Configure and optimize rules in antifraud systems and transaction monitoring tools.
- Work with payment data, risk indicators and decision-making logic.
- Participate in improving risk management processes and reducing operational and financial exposure.
Requirements:
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management or payment monitoring.
- Experience working with payment systems, banks, PSPs or high-risk merchants.
- Practical experience in detecting and preventing fraud attacks.
- Understanding of chargebacks, fraud schemes and payment risk indicators.
- Knowledge of Card Schemes rules (VISA, MasterCard) is required.
- Experience with antifraud systems, transaction monitoring or decision engines is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of AML, KYC, transaction monitoring and compliance processes is a plus.
